1. Service Acceptance

By booking a service with Modern House Enhancement, you acknowledge that you have read and agreed to these terms. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any lawful reason, including but not limited to unsafe working conditions or non-payment of prior invoices.

2. Project Quotes and Pricing

All quotes provided are valid for 30 days from the date of issue. Quotes are based on the scope of work described during consultation. Any changes or additions to the project scope may result in adjusted pricing, which will be communicated and agreed upon in writing before work proceeds.

3. Payment Terms

For projects under $5,000, full payment is due upon completion. For larger projects, a 30% deposit is required before work begins, with milestone payments scheduled throughout. Final payment is due within 7 days of project completion. Late payments may incur a 1.5% monthly interest charge.

4. Project Timeline

While we strive to complete every project on schedule, timelines may be affected by weather, material availability, permit delays, or unforeseen structural issues. We will communicate any delays promptly and work diligently to minimize disruption.

5. Warranty Coverage

We provide a 5-year warranty on labor for all projects, with extended warranties available on select services. Warranty does not cover damage caused by natural disasters, misuse, improper maintenance, or modifications by third parties. Claims must be submitted in writing within the warranty period.

6. Cancellation Policy

Cancellations made more than 7 days before the scheduled start date receive a full refund of deposit. Cancellations within 7 days forfeit 50% of the deposit. Once work has begun, cancellation requires payment for completed work plus cost of materials purchased.

7. Limitation of Liability

Modern House Enhancement is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from our services. Our total liability is limited to the cost of the services provided. We are not responsible for damage to pre-existing structures with undisclosed defects.

8. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the USA. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Shreveport, Louisiana, in accordance with the American Arbitration Association rules.
